At the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, the land issue remained a priority among many socio-economic, socio-political, national and other issues of Western Armenia. The land issue arose as a result of the deprivation of the Armenians of Western Armenia, the genocide, illegal taxation, the resettlement of Muslims, and other arbitrariness.
