The journal is published by the department of the Armenian Studies and Social Sciences of NAS RA in collaboration with all academic institutions.

Since March 2013, the “EBSCO” Publishing House has included the "Historical and Philological Journal", published by the NAS of the Republic of Armenia, in its “Central & Eastern European Academic Source” database.

The ''Historical and Philological Journal'' is included in the list of journals '' Acceptable for Publication of Results of Doctoral and Master's Dissertation'' approved by the Commitee for Higher Education and Science of RA.
