Post Graduate Fellow in Department of Oriental Studies, Chair of Iranian Studies of the Yerevan State University. His sphere of scientific interests: Nakhijevan in the XVII-XIX centuries, Nakhijevan toponym and socio-political developments in 1905-1921, Iranian-speaking ethnic populations under the government of Baku. He is an author of one monograph and 3 articles.
