Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Modern Armenian Language of the Institute of Language after Hrachia Acharyan of NAS RA, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of Gavar State University. Scientific interests: history of the Western Armenian language, the Armenological activities of the Mkhitarist Congregation, study of the vocabulary and grammatical structure of the modern Armenian language. He is the author of three books and more than forty articles.
